In my book, this is the only Monster Cable product that's worth buying. When used in my karaoke system (separate from the HT system), they add better dynamics and midrange clarity. I haven't tried braiding them but theoretially it would give them immunity from RF noise.

By the part that plugs into the X-Box, there is what looks like a headphone jack. These cables would have originally come with a short dongle that plugs in there and then terminates in a female optical audio port. It would have also come with a long male-to-male optical audio cable that would plug in there.
