The usual choice is the iPad Pro (12.9). However, it's very expensive. There is also the new Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, which is quite a bit cheaper, considering it also comes with the pen. I'm concerned about the software and the aspect ratio of both tablets. Which would result in the best readability, since sheet music is usually A4. Which made me choose the larger one. Mikesgt •. 12.9" all day. Way better for consuming content, and it has the mini-LED tech as well. •. This. •. Probably the 11’ if you want to be lil more portable but the 12.9’ is in where you get the new screen tech and obviously more battery, screen real-estate.
The official apple folios are definitely nicer, but they’re not 5x nicer. I was going to get the official apple folio for my iPad Pro, but just went with a cheaper one on Amazon. For something I won’t use often (I also use the Magic Keyboard), it was a no-brainer. I have the official folio for my iPad Pro 11” though.
Ipad pro 2020 11 vs 12.9 Hi. I am about to buy the new 2020 iPad Pro but i don't know which one to buy, the 11 or 12.9. I don't want to replace my laptop with the iPad, but use it mostly for Note taking and studying (sometimes drawing).
iPad Pro 12.9” 4th gen (2020) vs iPad Pro 12.9” 5th gen (2021) I found a 4th gen 12.9” with 128gb + lte for $400 cheaper than the 5th gen 128gb (no lte). And I was wondering if the 5th gen without lte is worth the $400 extra or not I use my iPad a lot and I watch yt, movies and browse the web most of the time. Main difference now is the
Also, the 10.5” (and I believe, the 11” as well) sometimes puts apps in iPhone layout while on split screen. The 129” gives you two full-sized iPad Apps in all their glory. 1. [deleted] • 4 yr. ago. FWIW I carry the 12.9 with me everywhere, without any issue. The 12.9" was more comfortable. I had the original 12,9” and was then given a 10,5” so lived with both for about a year. Found that I used the 10,5 much more due to the portability. Therefore when the new iPad Pro’s was announced, I knew I would be getting the 11” and haven’t regretted it one bit.
iPad Pro 11-inch: iPad Pro 12.9-inch: Size: 9.74 x 7.02 x 0.23 inches (247.6 x 178.5 x 5.9 mm) 11.04 x 8.46 x 0.23 inches (280.6 x 214.9 x 5.9 mm) Weight: Wifi Only: 1.04 pounds (471 grams)
In a studio environment, the 12.9 inch is great, it gets closer to a canvas. But like I said, the actual process of creating digital art on a screen in this category is more similar than different. It's not like the device choices go from 8 inches to 30 inches. its like 11 and 13 inches, its still a pretty narrow category of screen sizes all I rarely even use my iPad as a tablet. So I suggest you get the 11 inch, even if I have the 12.9. Reply. [deleted] • 1 yr. ago. Exactly the 12.9 inch dues way to earlier than 11 inch and for me battery backup is a must, plus the 12.9 inch is extra fragile because of bigger footprint but almost same thickness. If you are going to be doing a lot of typing then I would recommend the 12.9 inch model. The keyboard is a little cramped on the 11 inch. There are cheaper keyboards than the magic keyboard out there. I can't speak to the multitask experience as I am planning on getting my first Pro tomorrow and I am going to get the 12.9 inch one. The entry-level iPad 10 is available from £499, which gets you 64GB of storage. There’s also the option of a 5G model from £679. There’s only one size available in a 10.9-inch display The display technology of both models is exactly the same (same resolution and 120Hz refresh rate), so the only difference is size. As for performance, there is a significant jump from the A12Z in the 2020 iPad Pro to the M1 in the 2021 iPad Pro, at least in benchmark performance. In practice, if your work does not involve heavy workloads like HNrd9g.
